6 th Grade English Review Midterm Exam Semester 2 Date: Tuesday, April 1 st , 2025 Grammar : (30%) Review Resource: Live English Grammar Units 10-13 Present Perfect Simple Present Perfect Simple vs Past Simple The verb used to Present Perfect Progressive Can – Could – Be able to – May – Might – Shall Literary Devices: (20%) Students will have to answer a series of questions identifying the genre, subgenre, author’s point of view, and author’s purpose. 60 New Vocabulary Words : (10%) Review Resource: Journeys Vocabulary Worksheets for Lessons 16 – 21 Students will have to read sentences and fill in the blanks with the correct vocabulary word .
